Mission

Our Mission is to provide food and necessities to those in our community who are in financial need.

Apart from one part-time administrator, Angel Baskets has no paid employees. And, we have no overhead in the way of rent or utilities so your financial support can flow more directly through our programs to our community members in need. We have an active working board of directors that donates many generous hours to our cause.

Angel Baskets was founded in 1981 to provide help at the holidays for several local families who were struggling financially. Throughout its 40+ year history, Angel Baskets has remained flexible, expanding geographically and adding new programs to meet changing needs. Angel Baskets now operates five programs (Food Security, Childhood Nutrition, School Supply, Pharm Aid and Holiday Gifting) in San Miguel County and the west end of Montrose County.
