HOLIDAYS

The holidays are here and Angel Baskets needs your help to assemble and deliver gift boxes containing gifts, food, food gift certificates, clothing, toys and necessities to more than 600 individuals, half of them children.  Our gifts go out to more than 200 low-income qualified families in San Miguel County and the west end of Montrose County.  Help us brighten the holidays for families who might otherwise not be able to celebrate.

Angel Baskets' holiday headquarters is located at 398 West Colorado, across from Second Chance.  We will open Wednesday, November 30th, and will be open Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm, November 30 - December 16 and Saturdays December 3rd and 10th from 10am to 2pm.  We will deliver the holiday gifts on Saturday, December 17th.

Here's how you can help:

Adopt an Angel:  Stop in Angel Baskets' headquarters and pickup a gift request from a child or an elder.  Gifts must be returned to headquarters by Monday, December 12th.

Volunteer:  Help us wrap gifts and assemble boxes any time during our hours of operation.

Deliver:  Deliver the gifts on Saturday, December 17th.  Stop in Angel Baskets' headquarters and sign-up to deliver.

Even more great news!

FINES FOR FOOD

The Wilkinson Public Library is partnering with Angel Baskets again. Pay your outstanding library fines between November 28 and December 11 and the fines will be used to purchase grocery gift certificates for recipients of the holiday program.

TOYS FOR TICKETS

We know you wish you'd never received that parking ticket, but there is a bright side! From November 21 to December 17 you can pay your parking ticket with a toy by bringing in your parking ticket, a new (unwrapped) toy of equal or greater value and the purchase receipt to the Telluride Marshall's Department and they will donate the toys to Angel Baskets.

Volunteers Needed

We need your help.
